His son, Diego, was its first viceroy, and its capital, Santo Domingo, became the oldest European settlement in the Western Hemisphere. Unigold Inc. [UGD-TSXV] is currently focusing on exploring and developing the Los Candelones gold deposit on the Neita property in the Dominican Republic. Unigold has a similar arrangement with the government on the neighbouring Sabaneta property. In addition, Unigold has an option to acquire the adjacent Los Guandules Concession. Read Full Article
